MOSJ stands for us, Mayumi and Josje, founders of MOSJ Atelier.

It all started in the attic of our beautiful, little apartment overlooking the Rijksmuseum in the centre of Amsterdam.

As best friends we spent many evenings like all girlfriends do; watching Netflix, cooking Ottolenghi recipes, and drinking wine. During one of those evenings we were looking for some kind of creative outlet and we took Josje's second-hand sewing machine and started playing around with it. 

And before we even knew, MOSJ Atelier was born right there.. <3
